Cole Design Dining Room and Kitchen

Here are a few photo's of another project we have in Darien, Ct. This project is also near the water in Noroton Manor. We have been working more in the grey tones for the wall colors than the last project (HERE) in Tokeneke, a beautiful and exclusive part of Darien where we used more sea foam and taupe colors. However, with this project we were going more with the cooler tones of grey. It plays off really well with the navy shades and orange pillows. I love those three colors together.

This house is a fun cottage were the Tokeneke house was contemporary. Working in Darien Ct has given me the opportunity to work with so many different styles of homes, from historical to contemporary, by the water and back country.

Below are the photos of the cottage style home we have been working on. The dining room has walls painted in Farrow and Ball Pavilion Grey with white shutters and a sisal rug with a black boarder. There are chinoiserie orange pillows and Kiki chairs with chalk white slip covers, along with mercury ball lamps and lots of accents of coral, with a collection of antique bottles in navy and sea foam colors like sea glass. Hurricanes hold a wonderful collection of sea glass.

We designed a banquette eating area in the kitchen. The walls are painted Farrow and Ball color Blacken..it's my Favorite! I can take that color any were and it behaves just perfectly. The round table takes away some of the hard edges and provides amply seating. The striped navy blue and white seat cushions add depth and a pinch of a nautical feel to the design with out being to theme oriented. The fun accents of fluffy white pillows round out the design.

Remolded kitchen. With white subway tiles and wall color is Farrow and Ball-Blacken.
White bead board cabinets and brush nickel pulls and knobs. Black granite counters. Very classic design with clean lines.

What a fabulous job! I love how cohesive every room is to another and the pops of orange just brighten things up. Great work!

Love the paint color! And that kitchen is fabulous - we're updating ours a littel bit at a time, so this provides great inspiration.

The remodelled kitchen and the zebra rug is very appealing. I'm impressed with the little banquette eating area because the designer managed to put this in a little area of the kitchen.
