Fireplaces

Sitting in front of the fireplace is probably one of my favorite things to do. There is nothing better than having a beautiful fireplace and the mantle decor can dramatically change the look of the room. Fireplaces can be traditional or more modern like the zebra one below. Now that the weather is cool and the holidays are coming, it is important to make sure your fireplace is fully equipped with wood and your mantle is festively decorated!

#3 speaks to my soul. So gorgeous. Of course, I'm always sold by a gorgeous mirror in a space.

These are all great fireplaces!! Having a fireplace in the winter in New England is a must have, they are just amazing!

Pretty spaces. I love curling up by the fire on a cold night after all the children are asleep!

I'm enamored with the 4th image. The use of wood as a texture in a very neutral space works so well and although untraditional still makes it feel really warm. Great ideas!

Wow! Amazing inspiration. Love that first one--not sure I could actually ever do it but it is incredibly fun.

Great images. I am in the middle of having four fireplaces painted between two clients so I love all this inspiration.

Because life is not fair I do not have a fireplace. If I could change one thing about this house that would be it. Love these images!

I am in love with fireplaces. My favorite place to be in a home. Our fireplace does not work...so sad. I can't wait to have a working one some day. I love the ones you picked :)

The zebra fireplace is stunning and the idea of stacking wood in the fireplace instead of burning wood in the fireplace is interesting.
