Charlestown, Boston

Yesterday, we went to Boston for the day.  Before my parents had children, they lived in Charlestown so we went back to the area to see where they had lived!  This is such a beautiful part of the Boston area with a lot of brownstones and colonial homes.  This is also where the Bunker Hill monument stands overlooking the city.

These are pictures of a beautiful home on Beacon Street in Boston and there are a lot more on Sotheby's.

Great images! I've never been to Boston, but would love to go. Perhaps not in January, but still...;)

Isn't it gorgeous. Love that area. I'm so thankful to get to experience Boston for these couple of years. It's such a wonderful city with the most lovely little neighborhoods.

I love Charlestown- it is such a historic and pretty part of Boston- I would LOVE to own one of those buildings and totally renovate it back to its original glory :)

Great restaurants there too, the BF and I go for date night there often.

My grandparents grew up in Charlestown and so did my Mom- it wasn't like it is today :)
They've done a great job of cleaning up that area- it's gorgeous now!
If only my great-grandparents hadn't sold their brownstone....

Charlestown is such a nice part of Boston. I used to work at a restaurant there and loved walking around the brownstones and the monument on my breaks. Lovely pictures!
