Vintage Bottles

How amazing are these lovely vintage bottles? We are in the love with the coloration of whites, turquoise's and greens.  The frosted milk glass is so beautiful. The different sizes and shapes are so intriguing. The grouping of the bottles with flowers singles or bouquets are so very pretty. Hope every one has a peaceful fun weekend.

They are cute! Though, I am not sure the jars on the left are vintage. I think the photo is from a craft project, with clear glass jars painted on their interior to acheive that result. I can't remember where I saw that....

Love these! Did you see the similar image in Martha Stewart Living? I tore it out of the mag and was going to post it myself! Great minds think alike!

Hey - the photo on the left is from Canadian House and Home (at least I think so!). It is just spaghetti sauce, olive oil and other food supply bottles emptied, cleaned and then filled with latex paint. They used a syringe that you get from the paint department in any hardware store and fill the syringe with paint and tilt the bottles slightly while emptying the syringe of paint into the bottle. Let it dry upside down, wipe excess off the top. I am 99% sure they have an online video on this....

Yup, here's the link:

Hope that helps!
