Amanda Talley's New Studio

One of the highlights to the trip to New Orleans was visiting Amanda Stone Talley's new studio and home. Melissa had worked for Amanda a few years back in her old studio and retail space. Amanda is in a brand new studio and it was such a joy to meet her in person and have a tour! It is complete with a gorgeous backyard and roof terrace for sun bathing.
Amanda had posted on her blog about painting the red brick in her studio white, and it turned out great. The studio is so light and airy.  Her paintings are just stunning in person. The texture of the paint and the depth and movement of her paintings are so beautiful.

This first painting was one of our favorites. We just loved the colors and design.

We were also able to see her new fabric line that is inspired from her paintings.

We cannot thank Amanda enough for all of her gracious hospitality. She invited us up to her beautiful home, which was such a treat to see her stunning living room and we had a fun chat. Thank you again Amanda for all your time.
