Miranda Lake's Shotgun

The beautiful New Orleans artist Miranda Lake's home is a collage of exquisitely colored rooms. Her vivid paintings used throughout the home work beautifully with these gem-like colors. Her home is a classic 1910 shotgun, a classic style to New Orleans. The furniture throughout the home has been collected over time and inherited from her grandmother. The bar was made by the Coca Cola Company. She has found many a treasure on Magazine Street and in Bywater. The Lake house is a living aesthetic of color and beauty.

Love the fact that she is not afraid of color and used it through out her home.It makes her home look fun and interesting, one that has evolved over time,I like that, Kathysue

I really admire the bold color choices in this place, and the fact that the home feels like the perfect place to display all the fun antique finds the owner has!
