Thankgiving Inspiration featuring ALG Style

I am so very excited to announce I have partnered with the lovely girls
from ALG Style, based out of New Orleans, to bring my wonderful readers
Thanksgiving inspiration for both the fashion and table scape details of the day!
Corrie and Aimée are the two fabulously creative duo behind
ALG Style, a personal style and full service wardrobe curation company.
They also offer "Chic Nola Tours" for those who want a customized
shopping tour of New New Orleans, carefully personalized and curated
by Corrie and Aimée to meet your shopping needs and wishes!
Since they know all of the best hidden spots as well, they are a wealth
of knowledge on where to find the best spots and deals around Nola!
We decided to feature both Corrie and Aimée's Thanksgiving styles
since they both have a different take on the day...Corrie has a more classic
and tailored look, and Aimée likes to showcase the edgy style - I love both,
and it's the perfect combination for complimenting the other,
making for a cohesive styling team!

Corrie describes her Thanksgiving inspiration:

My style is more classic and ladylike. I love leather and A-line skirts
paired with a simple turtleneck. I love the color combo and felt that this
is something I would be comfortable and chic in. I'm a pear shape and the
skirt flares my hips and the necklace draws attention to my smaller half.
Shop the Look:
Banana Republic Wink Necklace - (Currently 30% off with Code: BRSAVINGS {ends 11/23})
Vince Claire Pump in Black - (Currently 30% off: no code needed)

Aimée describes her Thanksgiving inspiration:

I am more Rock and Roll. I love this outfit because it
showcases my fashion sense. Jumpsuits are a fun trend to experiment
with this season and I love the holiday sparkle with the relaxed fit of the blazer.
I will sure be a chic host in this Thanksgiving outfit!

I'm Headed to...

I'm super excited to announce that Kingsley and I will be moving to...
I am so excited, since Leslie is in Providence and family will be very close
for Holidays and weekends. Plus, I have an amazing job starting the beginning of December!
My parents lived in Boston when they were my age, and having grown up visiting Boston
multiple times a year, i'm so excited to be living in the city! When I first decided on Boston,
I found this Boston Map print from Evelyn Henson and it is my newest addition to the prints
for my gallery wall. Stay tuned for Boston posts and apartment design updates!

Lariat Necklaces

I love the delicate nature of the lariat necklace. It adds a bit
of personality to any outfit, especially a simple blouse or
a neutral dress, the necklace then becomes the focal point of the outfit.
This Gia Double Star Lariat Necklace with the double layers is my favorite!

Splurge or Save

I received such a great response on my previous
splurge or save post, I decided to do another one!
I love to find these products that are similar in style
but so different in price and if you're looking for a bargain,
it's nice to know that you can get a high end look for a low end price!
I love these dual sided pearl earrings and I have the Steve Madden
cognac boots (I live in them!), however I have really been wanting a
Prada wallet in Navy, so I think I will hold out for a splurge on that item!
Splurge: Pearl Studs with Silver (also comes in Gold)

Charcoal One-Button Sweater

I am so very excited about this one button wrap sweater
since it is now one of the most comfortable piece of clothing
in my closet - and just what I need as it is starting to transition
to the chilly late fall air! This sweater is perfect for road trips
or for the plane ride home for the holidays. I always like having
a cozy top to wrap around me whenever the temperature could change
drastically at any moment! I paired it with my leopard heels, Hudson Jeans
and Louis Vuitton bag to dress it up a little bit more.

Holiday Gift Wrap

It has become a yearly tradition, that we each select
a wrapping paper to designate the gifts we are going to
give to others. It started out when my mom and dad selected their
own wrapping paper and us three girls just used whatever was around the house.
Now it has become a point that we each have our own individual wrapping paper we use.
This year, i'm going with a more personalized style thanks to Minted, with whom I have a
gift card! I am going to get the Glittering Monogram Paper with my initials on it.
I can't wait for everyone to see my wrapped gifts under the tree and
I can't wait to see what paper my family ends up using!

Items listed from top left:

Rifle Paper City Toile Paper // For You Tag // Hilda Gift Wrap // Gold Dot Washi Tape

Gold Confetti Tags // Banner Gift Tags // Festive Floral Paper

Blue Spruce Paper // Party Dots Paper // Snow Ornament Tags // Red and White Twine

Cold Weather Necessities

I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year.
I love flannel sheets, cozying up by the fire, hot apple cider
and my leather boots. Uggs with fun socks, and cashmere sweaters and Christmas.
Then we have early morning dog walks in bitter winds, chapped lips and hands,
dark, long nights and bare, leafless trees. It seems as if the good outweighs the bad,
especially when you have cute, cozy winter clothes!

Red Hot Party Dress

Last week, I featured 10 dresses under $100 - I decided this Red Party Dress would be perfect for
my family's annual Christmas party. I paired it with some fun accessories (clutch, necklace) and
love the look I created with my patent Tory Burch Wedges. Let's hope it's not too snowy and cold!

Matchboxes & Candles

A couple of years ago, my sister gave me a decorative box of matches
and a candle for my birthday. Aside from the artwork on the box, these
matches are my favorite since they're long and keep my fingers away
from the flame. They make such a great gift and can be used for any
celebration - holidays, birthdays, hostess gift. I have never met anyone
who doesn't love candles (even unscented) and it's not a risk you have to
take since the match boxes can be used decoratively as well!
I'm hoping my mom will scoop up a few of these for stocking stuffers,
